Musical Cove aspires to foster an enjoyment of music that lasts a lifetime in our students. Our music programmes focus on active, student-centred, and curiosity-driven learning for the piano, guitar, and ukulele.

We believe every student is unique, and no standard teaching method would work for everyone. At Musical Cove, we personalize our lessons based on our student's goals and learning pace. We enjoy listening to our students, respecting their identities, and allowing them to be involved in their musical journey.

We also encourage students to take internationally-recognized examinations and participate in our yearly recital. We believe these opportunities give them the chance to feel a sense of achievement, recognition, and confidence!

The Pianist

Teacher Jesslyn

Teacher Jesslyn has been teaching the piano professionally to students of all ages for over a decade. An expert in educating children and youth, she has inspired over a hundred students with the joy of music-making.

She believes that music learning should be an essential part of a child, as it ignites all areas of development: it improves academic ability, develops physical-motor coordination, cultivates social skills, refines discipline and patience, and boosts the self-esteem of an individual.

She respects that every student has a unique relationship with music, and encourages her students to have opinions and thoughts to the pieces that they play and choose their own pieces to perform for Musical Cove's yearly recital.

Beyond classical music, Teacher Jesslyn also introduces students to various kinds of genres (such as jazz & pop) to help develop their love for the craft.

The Pianist

Teacher Clara

Clara has been teaching the piano since 2019, while studying music full time in school. Driven by her desire to inspire the younger generation, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.

Her goal is to share her passion for music with others through her teaching, fostering a love in learning this language. She hopes to develop musical abilities of her students by honing their skills while providing them with an outlet for self-expression.Clara recognises the importance of adapting her teaching approaches towards the learning style of an individual. Through this, she aspires to creates an optimal learning environment for her students to reach their full potential.

The Guitarist / Song writer

Teacher Jeremy

Teacher Jeremy has been teaching the guitar & ukulele in various MOE and music schools over the past 11 years. A passionate musician, he loves sharing his knowledge with like-minded students and helping cultivate their talents.

Throughout his teaching career, Jeremy has worked with students from a variety of backgrounds, ages, and experience levels. An expert in engaging youths and adults, he enjoys the opportunity to pass on his experience and knowledge to students who are passionate about music.As a versatile guitarist and singer-songwriter, Jeremy has contributed to numerous professional projects internationally. Currently he is a part of a songwriting and production studio in the United States.Jeremy loves to incorporate different styles of music and techniques into his lessons and encourages students to learn music that they are passionate about. He creates a supportive environment where students can feel comfortable and motivated to explore different styles of music such as Rock, Pop, Jazz, Metal, Funk etc.

Jay Han believes that music is a deeply personal experience for everyone, and he views the piano as an ideal instrument to build this intimate connection. He is passionate about sharing his skills and knowledge to help students not only create beautiful melodies but also develop a lasting relationship with music.Jay Han is committed to fostering a lifelong enjoyment of music, ensuring that his students grow both technically and artistically. His approach is centered around making each lesson engaging and enriching, tailored to meet the individual needs of every student.
